Meredith John's involvement with dog sports began as a junior handler,
showing a Standard Poodle and Airedale Terriers in obedience and junior showmanship.
More than 25 years later, she continues to compete in conformation, obedience, agility and tracking as a breeder/owner/handler.
Meredith periodically teaches obedience and conformation handling classes, and, when not
competing in performance events, handles a variety of breeds for clients in the conformation ring.
She is the author of numerous books and articles on a wide range of subjects,
and is a popular seminar presenter and instructor.

Carole Richards acquired her first show dog in 1978, and she began teaching herself to
show dogs by studying the actions of good handlers. Soon she was successfully showing various breeds,
finishing dozens of breed
champions, and is now listed in Who's Who in Handling.
In addition to showing dogs and competing in the agility ring,
Carole teaches conformation handling classes for beginning and advanced students.
She is a breed columnist for The AKC Gazette as well as a contributor to Dogs Today, and The Weimaraner Magazine. |
